Notes | The original letter is GEO/ADD/28/073. The French transcription and English translation are on two halves of RA GEO/ADD/28/053. Both documents bear the circled number '3', which shows the order in which the original letter was bound. Mrs Clayton has added a note underneath the French transcription on GEO/ADD/28/053: 'this letter does not run well with the Inglish [sic], but is exsactly [sic] copied from the originall [sic]'. |
