The Duke of Portland writes with regards to Mr Pennell Hawkins and the cost of apothecary bills. He notes that the King's servants will be covered in terms of medical attendance except in the case of an epidemic or sickly season, and that the reduction of bills is set to take place on Lady Day 1766. Portland notes that Hawkin's family will be provided for and a pension given to Hawkins
