Description | Cross, upon learning that Knighton does not recall his outstanding expenses, states that he spoke with him in 1828 concerning the matter and was assured the account would be settled. He also lists some of his expenses including: purchasing straw, hay and corn; attending a shipment of deer and kangaroos presented to the Pasha [Viceroy] of Egypt [Muhammad Ali]; and sending Arabs [horses] to Malta. |
