Payments included: wages; stabling costs; travelling expenses; purchases of furniture (page 24 lists Mr. [Thomas] Chippendale), liveries, and Hampton Court Park (listed on page 152); donations; housekeeping; repairs; tradesmen's bills; and the settling of the chandler, brewer, wine and coal merchants' accounts.
