Augusta, Princess of Wales (1719-1772)

Description
Augusta informs the King that she has examined the content of the enclosed documents in which it is claimed that the late Prince left her some documents. Augusta, however, confirms that this is not true and that there must have been a mistake - the mentioned papers could have been burnt, as Frederick often used to do that with other papers.
She seeks the support of the King for her decison to take Miss Pitt as Privy Purse - Augusta stresses the importance of having the King's approval for this and all her actions in general.
