Annotated in pencil that the letter was forwarded to Frederick Dawes Danvers in June 1832, and that on 23 June Ponsonby called at the Duchy Office when he was informed that the executors of George IV would not acknowledge his claim. Ponsonby was also shown a receipt from John Nash as proof that the account had been paid in full of all demands. |
