Title | Letter from Frederick Dawes Danvers to John Nash regarding Thomas Ponsonby's claim |
Date | 24 September 1834 |
Writer | Danvers, Frederick Dawes |
Knighton, William, Sir, 1st Baronet |
Addressee | Nash, John (1752–1835); architect |
Description | [Reply to the letter GEO/MAIN/32895.] Danvers states that it is Nash's oversight that Ponsonby has not been paid, as there could 'be no doubt' that it fell under the architectural accounts previously settled, and that the receipt, along with those for furniture, were sent to the Chamberlain's Department. Noted on the reverse that the letter was dictated by Sir William Knighton. |
