Description
The King informs Lord North of the unfortunate situation in which the King's son [George, Prince of Wales] is in at present: the previous year he had a relationship with an actress to whom he sent several letters revealing private and political matters. The said actress is now threatening to publish those letters unless they are bought from her. The King has entrusted Lt- Col. Hotham to solve this business: he will pay her £5,000.
