Description	George III tells the Duke he must tell him of a family disgrace: that the Duke of Cumberland has "stooped" to marry Mrs Horton, worse than his previous offences of "the St. Albans business, his attendance on Mrs Bailey and his connection with Fetty place and Newmarket Grooms". George III says he cannot receive her or "look on him again" unless he promises not to acknowledge her publicly, which will offset the stories spread by her family. A comparison is made of the treatment of Princes marrying "subjects" in other countries. George III states his intentions to use him as an example to his children. George III encloses a letter sent to him by the Duke of Cumberland, and writes that he hopes never to hear of it again
