McMahon states that he 'judg'd it prudent not to write anything, at least for the present, to a certain lady', and discusses arrangements regarding a villa [likely to refer to Caroline, Princess of Wales].
He also refers to a letter from 'D.B' [?Bate Dudley], and financial arrangements involving 'S' [Peter Stuart].
McMahon then states that William Taylor, following the Prince's wishes, had offered Angellelli £400 a season at the Opera which she refuses, having been offered £650. McMahon reports that Mrs [Sarah] Siddons is playing [in Cheltenham] and Mrs Crouch and [Michael] Kelly are engaged for the next week.
