| Description | Heberden states that he is a stranger to the reasons, 'which made him [George, Prince of Wales] order one of the Willis's to write the letter when I was here'. Heberden then describes Dr John Willis's suggestion that Heberden speak with the King, and Heberden's opinion that 'eating freely as he did, and taking no exercise, there was danger of H M becoming stuff'd and oppressed', and the following decision to give the King calomel. He states that the King 'appears to be more than ever engrossed by the images of his disordered fancy'.
