Description	Prince William received orders to proceed to Plymouth to refit the HMS Pegasus for foreign service, and a letter from Lord Howe suggesting that William returns abroad. He has applied to the King for a bigger ship. He will soon write again to discuss his allowance: if that it is not raised, the Prince will not be able to go abroad. He might have the chance to visit the Prince of Wales, but he knows that the family will only reproach him for immorality and dissipation - he finds that in recent years the King in particular has not been as nice with him. Prince William has received a letter from Lord Hood informing him that Schomberg is with him as First Lieutenant - in this way, Lord Hood is showing his disapproval of the Prince's conduct in the Schomberg's case.
