He wrote to Charles Stewart [Charles William Vane, 3rd Marquess of Londonderry, Minister to Prussia] to convey to the King of Prussia, the Duke's gratitude for the attention and respect always received from the Prussian army.
They are expecting the visit of the Grand Duchess Catherine [Pavlovna of Russia], who is on her way to England. |
