| Description | Elizabeth Southwell (1776–1817) (daughter of Edward Southwell, 20th Baron de Clifford) married William Keppel, 4th Earl of Albemarle on 9 April 1792 to become Countess of Albemarle. Her mother, Sophia, Lady de Clifford, was appointed as governess to Princess Charlotte of Wales, and Elizabeth became the Princess's childhood companion. Elizabeth and Princess Charlotte exchanged correspondence until the Princess' death in 1817. |
