The Princess writes that several Hanoverian horsemen insisted on accompanying her on the road to Cassel and assisted when the spring of her coach broke. A head forester continued with her to Morschen, and had arranged an armed guard to take her back to Minden in case of danger from French troops in the vicinity, but she arrived safely at Frankfurt on 20 June.
