After a delay caused by spraining her wrist, the Duchess writes that the Duke has not yet felt the benefit of his cure; but the harvest has been good, which she hopes will reduce the high food prices in the duchy; she goes on to comment on the grape and cereal harvests and wishes her father could see the cultivation in Germany.
