The Prince describes his relief at the news which 'will free me from a heavy burthen & remove me from a situation so very perplexing & mortifying...'. He requests that the Queen consult the physicians on how soon the Princes may see the King, and if denied access the next day requests that the physicians send him 'their opinion in writing, and the reasons on which it is grounded'.
