The papers had been given to George, Prince of Wales by [Ferdinand] Christin, and the Prince had sent them to the King. The King remarks that they are 'certainly curious and entertaining as all the productions of that gentleman's pen, and shew to what a degree of cabal that poor country is reduced'.
