DescriptionMoira refers to Captain Payne's previous assurances to the Duke of Northumberland that his request for an appointment in Cornwall for Mr Green would be granted when a vacancy arose, and that this had not yet been fulfilled. Moira also states that the Lodges of the County of Kent wish Doctor William Perfect to be appointed Provincial Grand Master in the place of Colonel Jacob Sawbridge, 'who is deranged in his intellects'.
