DescriptionThe Nawab refers to his friendship with the Prince of Wales, and his esteem for him. He criticises the East India Company and how he is being treated by the Madras Government, and requests that the Prince help to mediate between them. He refers to the Treaty of 1792.
The Nawab thanks the Prince for the swords and uniforms of his own regiment, and states that this has been adopted for his own personal guards.
