| Description | Given the current crisis, the Prince states that 'death would be preferable to being mark'd as the only man that was not suffer'd to come forth on such an occasion'. He states that due to the King's many surviving children, his service would not be a threat to the succession, and that George III in his place would also have wished to serve.
