Description
The message states that the Archbishop of Canterbury [Frederick Cornwallis], Lord Chancellor [Lord Apsley], and Bishop of London [Richard Terrick] will investigate the marriage in order to certify it. The King also states that [Maria], Duchess [of Gloucester's] labour should be attended by the Duke's servants rather than the Privy Council, which had previously been proposed by the Duke in GEO/MAIN/54336.
