Informing the King of the safe arrival of the HMS Pegasus in the docks where she will stay for a little while after having spent so much time at sea.
He makes the case for him being in charge of a bigger ship in case any rupture with the French or Spanish happens and the Pegasus will not be strong enough. He would be honoured to command the Melanpus and to return to a foreign station abroad for another three years.
