Description	Prince William describes the capture of the French ship Protée by the British fleet. When he returns home, he will present the King with the Ensigns taken from the Prince William, the St Julian and 'Le Prothée' as trophies of British success over the French and Spanish. Since the Prince's departure from Spithead, he has been reading astronomy and learning methods of navigation using a compass. He also has a plan of Gibraltar to show the King, which shows the works raised since the last disturbances.
