Collection | Correspondence of William IV |
Description | The Duke informs the Prince of the last developments at Torbay, waiting to sail. Lord Howe has arrived but the departure has been delayed again, possibly because of the great number of ships involved, many of which are already badly manned. The Duke thinks sailing with such a big fleet is a bad idea which came only from the King's vanity. Jack Lemon, who is going to be on the cruise with the Duke, asks the Prince to be remember with respect. |
