Description	Prince William describes his arrival in New York, where he was received by Sir Henry Clinton and dined with the British generals stationed in the city. The Prince was unable to receive the colours of the 40th Regiment Grenadiers, due to their having recently returned from the Battle of Groton Heights under the command of Benedict Arnold.
