DescriptionPrince William sends his letters through Captain Child [Smith Child] aboard the HMS Europe - other letters went lost before so that the Prince is worry about Alfred's health, knowing that he is not very well. He updates the King on the latest navy and military events.
The Prince is now in his Winter Quarters in the Admirals House. Mr Majendie [Rev. Henry William] wrote a very long letter about Prince William's conduct which will satisfy both the King and the Queen. Since he arrived there, he met Lieutenant [Herbert] Sawyer of the HMS Perseverance. Mr Majendie is happy about this relationship.
