| Description | The Duke arrived at the British Head Quarters two days before and will stay there with Sir Thomas Graham [General Thomas Graham, 1st Baron Lynedoch] until an attempt is made to seize Antwerp. The day before he went to Williamstadt to visit all different British departments of stores and transports.
He met in Breda with the Prince Hereditary of Orange [William I] and General Bülow [Friedrich Wilhelm Freiherr von Bülow, Graf von Dennewitz]; the young Prince Radzeville [Great Chancellor of Lithuania] and another prince, possibly, the Prince of Hohenzollern [Friedrich Hermann Otto of Hohenzollern-Hechingen] was also present. The Duke gives details of their ranks in the army.
General Bülow suggested that the Duke should be present at the attack against Antwerp: the Duke would be happy to accept but he will first consult with Lord Liverpool [Robert Banks Jenkinson, 2nd Earl of Liverpool].
