Queen Adelaide is feeling better thanks to the air of the seaside; she hopes Lady's Ely's daughter has recovered as well. The King is also very well; Sir M. Shee is painting a portrait of him for Dublin Castle: the Queen is very pleased with the result.
The Duchess of Gloucester [Princess Mary, Duchess of Gloucester and Edinburgh] is feeling fine as well as all Adelaide's family; her sister [Princess Ida of Saxe-Meiningen] is on her way back to the Hague after a long vacancy she took with the Duke and her sons.
