William just received Lord Mayo's letter with, enclosed, the one he wrote to Lord Liverpool [Robert Banks Jenkinson, 2nd Earl of Liverpool]. He encourages Lord Mayo to write to the Duke of Richmond as well and reasssures him that William fully supports him - but there is now nothing more he can do to help Lord Mayo.
William and his daughter [Sophia] might soon visit the Smiths.
