Description | William received the letters from the Mayos, which he is now sending, under cover to Rose in Berlin. Giving an account of his last movements in Germany - between the Castle of Rothenburg and Wildeck, until reaching Meiningen. Princess Adelaide enjoyed meeting the different relatives she found in Rothenbourg and Wildeck, but was certainly happier to see her family. William is also having a very good time and feels 'tolerably well'. He gives details of their next movements. William received letters from his daughters, who are well, and he will soon hear from George [FitzClarence] about him going to India [to serve there as Army officer] - with the approbation of Canning [George, President of the Board of Control]. |
