Description
Expenses are divided into the financial quarters. The account includes: general expenses; rent; sundry bills (including payment of a Peruque [wig] maker, a mantuamaker, a dancing master, and a bird-cage maker); expenses for a visit to Weymouth (6 Aug[ust]-7 October 1800); payment 'for electrifying' (quarter to July 1801); and payment for a 'muff & tippit' (quarter ending January 1803). With a [loose] letter from William Grey to Robert Grey listing servants to be paid salaries (GEO/MAIN/50126).
