Notes | The original letter is GEO/ADD/28/127. The French transcription and English translation are on two halves of GEO/ADD/28/011. Both documents bear the circled number '56', which shows the order in which the original letter was bound. In the original, it appears as if the forwarded letter is from 'L.B.' rather than Lady Portland, but the transcription states it is from 'mi Lade Porland'. |
