Description | In a postscript, the Princess of Wales remarks: 'Don't come nor answer, the division shall be settled to night [sic] or to morrow [sic], commission Geminghen to chuse [sic] for you, she shall send you the list of what I have'. |
Notes | The original letter is GEO/ADD/28/092. The French transcription and English translation are on two halves of GEO/ADD/28/025. Both documents bear the circled number '21', which shows the order in which the original letter was bound. At the end of the original letter is written, in English, 'the last week in Aprill [sic] 1718', which is presumed to be the date, although this is not completely clear. |
