| Notes | The original letter is GEO/ADD/28/083. The French transcription and English translation are on two halves of GEO/ADD/28/051a. Both documents bear the circled number '12', which shows the order in which the original letter was bound.
Although the subject is not explicity stated, this may relate to the concern expressing in previous letters of the proposed reduction of the Prince's revenue and the King choosing the Prince's servants, etc..
The Princess's comment 'the honest man is of great weight' may refer to Sir Joseph Jekyll [see CLAYTON/53]. |
