Title | Letter from the Duke of Clarence to J.W. Daniell, written at Hanover |
Date | 24 August 1818 |
Writer | Clarence and St Andrews, William, Duke of |
Addressee | Daniell, J.W. |
Description | Discussing financial matters: William is concerned about a £100 payment to the Troop horses and how to pay off the farm bills and other people. He hopes Coates [William's farm manager] still has some spare money to pay up all of this and buy stock. He stresses that he does not want any modifications to be made to the Park Farm or Garden without his consent. He hopes that his daughters have been properly housed with Mrs Harper in South Audley Square - George [ FitzClarence] would like to live with his sisters but William strongly disagrees and will pay for other accommodation for him in London. The Duchess and himself are well and happy. |
