Title | Letter from the Duke of Clarence to J.W. Daniell, written at Hanover |
Date | 28 August 1818 |
Writer | Clarence and St Andrews, William, Duke of |
Addressee | Daniell, J.W. |
Description | William confirms to have given instructions concerning the £100 to be given to the Troop Horses. He has not heard from Sophia [FitzClarence]] in a while and he hopes all his daughters are properly accommodated and cared for in the house in South Audley Square. Since linen is very cheap in Hanover, William suggests to Daniell to ask Mrs Oak [William's main housekeeper] for a list of whatever is needed and William will arrange a delivery. William and the Duchess [Adelaide] are well. |
