Title | Letter from the Duke of Clarence to J.W. Daniell, written at Hanover |
Date | 21 April 1819 |
Writer | Clarence and St Andrews, William, Duke of |
Addressee | Daniell, J.W. |
Description | Approving of the last decisions taken in the park and garden. For his fierce opposition to the construction of the straw yard, William thinks Elphick not be suitable to become farmer - William will discuss with Coates and Elphick the matter of the future management of the horses, as soon as he is back, which is certainly before the autumn. William is, however, happy about Coates and Elphick's agreement on the winter account; he asks Daniell to prompt them to unite effort on the question of the straw-yard horses as well. |
