Description
In reply to GEO/MAIN/54283 George writes that Potter, by accusing the King of criminality, seems to be 'deprived of his senses' and that he was innocent of even the 'very shadow of a flurtation'. He advises that all communication should end [lettting 'the thing drop here' has been crossed out and replaced with 'all intercourse with him drop'] and that if Potter tried to make a disturbance George would teach him the King's 'character is not be be abused without impunity'.
