Description
St. John writes that [Edward, Duke of York] died at eleven in the morning (of 17 September) after a long illness, which resulted in a 'maleary fever' [malaria] and inflammation of the bowels.
He enclosed a letter the Duke had entrusted him with before his death [possibly GEO/MAIN/54288], and mentions that Capt[ain] Convey will transport the Duke's body to England.
