Description
Wyndham gives Sir Thomas an account of a regrettable fact recently occurred and which concernes a very ill friend of them [Charles Seymour, 6th Duke of Somerset] who will probably soon die: as the false rumour of the friend's death spread, his son [Algernon Seymour, 7th Duke of Somerset] immediately assumed the new title and tried to change his father's will.
