DescriptionPulteney was sorry to hear about Sir Thomas' accident - although turned out to be nothing worrying. He complains about a tenant in Lord Essex Estate (that he acquired) causing trouble with cutting down too many trees. Sir Charles Wyndham, who is staying with Pulteney, had an accident which was made worse by an attack of gout. The Duke of Somerset [Charles Seymour, 6th Duke of Somerset] is doing well.
Pulteney will soon be in town.
