Collection | Frederick and Augusta, Prince and Princess of Wales |
Description | Frederick asks George about his progress in the study of English history and what he has learnt from Ayscough [Francis (1701–1763), George's tutor] and Funge. Frederick knows that George and Edward are both in town, Edward has still not written in two weeks, which is upsetting Frederick. He, then, suggests that Edward and George takes turn to write to him once a week to tell him what they have read - this exercise will help them remembering what they studied and will make Frederick proud.
