The letter details meeting the Prince Royal, stopping at Glücksburg, Glückstadt and seeing her sons and the Duke and Duchess of Beven. She writes of her plans to go to Schleswig and to stay with the Princess of Orange before travelling to Kiel, where if she has no word [?from George III] will travel to Altona to visit Duchess of Mecklenberg.
The Duchess also sends her thanks on behalf of [Caroline] Princess of Wales for the kind reception, and mentions the possibility of submitting to the tyrant [?Napoleon Bonaparte].
The Duchess adds the postscript that she fears upon meeting him again she will be overpowered with feeling.
