Pitt reports visiting the Prince of Wales with Mr Dundas and informed the Prince of him of what had taken place in the House of Commons concerning him. The Princeshowed him a letter from the Queen, and inferred that Pitt should communicate on his behalf with George III and that he was ready to give George III a full explanation of his spending in order to receive relief. He also dictated a memorandum concerning his financial situation to Mr Pitt
