Description
George III conveys his mother Princess Augusta's message that she wishes to see the Duchess, and that she intends to have his late brother's house at Pall Mall. The King is opposed to the visit as he does not want Augusta to be away from her children for too long. George III doubts the Dowager will live another fortnight and Augusta will hear of her death before she can make the journey. He reports that the doctor has diagnosed her with consumption
