Description
Draft of letter in which George III reports the ongoings of the Court of Denmark to his sister [Duchess of Brunswick]. He describes their sister's [Queen of Denmark] retreat to the Electorate, the Danish Court's "impertinence at pretending to consult" him, and the demands the British made to retrieve the Queen (and the ten ships which they sent past Diede twice). He informs her that the Queen will be at their Summer residence at Groehde. As soon as her maintenance from the Danish Court is received he will advise her on what Court she should keep
