Memorandum by George III stating that he entrusts Prince William into Admiral Hood's care, and that he is to be educated in nautical knowledge and perform all the duties of the on board position he is given. The King has asked that a Lieutenant report on his behaviour, that Prince William still pursue his "on shore" studies, and that he should be "treated with civility but no marks of respect". He stipulates the rules concerning his accompaniment
