| Description | Signed, sealed and dated will concerning George III's leasehold and personal estates in Great Britain. The King bequeaths the freehold capital messuage, the Queen's House and lands to the Queen Consort, as well as those that are leasehold (and he provides the right to renew said leases). He also provides certain contents of the Queen's House to the Queen Consort, stipulating that they must be passed to the Prince of Wales after her death. The freehold and leasehold primes will be passed to Prince William, who must pay a certain sum to Prince Edward a year after his inheritance. George III stipulates that the Prince of Wales may purchase these for a set sum and also makes arrangements in the case of the death of Prince William prior to the Queen Consort. The King bequeaths Richmond Lodge, and its land and capital to the Queen Consort, which will be passed to the Prince of Wales after her death. Some contents such as books and certain items of jewellery are bequeathed to Prince Frederick. The residue is bequeathed to the Prince of Wales. George III gives instructions for his burial, and names Queen Charlotte as his executor. |
