Description
Clinton discusses the likely scenario if Tionville [Thionville] and Metz are not reduced. He suggests that if the Duke of Brunswick threatens Paris 'the K- will be murdered, and that capital, plundered and burned'. He ends the letter by noting that the 'letters of Du Mourier and Kellerman of this day, do not seem to confirm my very humble opinions'.
